Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada je prikazati neke životinje koje Zakon o lovstvu svrstava u krupnu divljač, prikazati njihove migracijske navike, probleme koji se javljaju zbog nemogućnosti migracije, kao i mjere kojima se nastoji smanjiti posljedice fragmentacije staništa. Životinje se kreću u različite svrhe, ali najčešće zbog korištenja prirodnih resursa, što uključuje pronalaženje hrane, skloništa i zadovoljava nagon za preživljavanjem i očuvanjem vrste. Životinje koje migriraju postoje u cijelom životinjskom carstvu. Migriraju pomoću letenja, plivanja, hodanja te zanošenja. Usprkos ovoj raznolikosti govorimo o jedinstvenom biološkom fenomenu, koji se odnosi na jednu od definirajućih svojstava svih životinja i njihovu mogućnost kretanja. Životinje koje imaju učinkovitiju sposobnost migracije duže preživljavaju i ostavljaju za sobom više potomaka. U današnje vrijeme sve su izraženiji antropološki uvjetovane fragmentacije staništa ponajprije izgradnjom suvremenih ograđenih autocesta, a u novije vrijeme i postavljanjem ograda na granicama pojedinih država čija je svrha sprječavanje migracija ljudi. Ovime se nedvojbeno narušavaju ekološki odnosi u prirodi, a sprječavaju se i migracije životinja. Na veliku izgradnju autocesta, potrebno je osigurati prijelaze za životinje kako bi se olakšale dnevne i sezonske migracije. S toga se u nekim predjelima grade zeleni mostovi, tuneli i drugi prijelazi koji olakšavaju migraciju životinja.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this paper is to show some animals which by Hunting Laws are placed in the category of Large game, to show their migrational tendencies, problems they face when migration is not possible and precautious measures that ensure the reduction of the fragmentations in the habital areas. These animals migrate for many reasons but mostly the cause for them is to forage for food, shelter and species preservation purposes. Migrating animals are found all across the animal kingdom. Animals are using every medium for it, for example fish migrate in the sea etc. Types of migrations are by flying, swimming, walking and drifting. Despite all this we are talking of one of a kind biological phenomenom which is on of the defining elements of the animal kingdom, their mobility. Animals that are more effective in migration survive longer and raise quite larger number of offspring. Today, considering that the fragmentation of habitats is larger due to modern society's need for space for modern highways, apartment building's etc. Also a large part for this is building borders and fences around countries of which a migration by land is disabled. In case of modern highway's natural crossings are some of the things that need to be ensure for animal and human safety.
