Abstract
Šećerna je repa važna ratarska kultura koja se uzgaja zbog visokog sadržaja šećera u korijenu. Koristi se kao sirovina za proizvodnju šećera i drugih prehrambenih proizvoda. Zahtijeva pravilnu agrotehniku i povoljne uvjete tla i klime kako bi postigla visoke prinose i sadržaj šećera. Završni rad će obraditi osnovne i bitne aspekte ove ratarske kulture. Fokus će biti na provođenju pravilne agrotehnike, uključujući plodorede, obradu tla, sjetvu, gnojidbu i zaštitu biljaka. Također će se naglasiti važnost prilagođavanja vremenskim uvjetima, koji sve više variraju zbog klimatskih promjena. Unatoč tim izazovima, šećerna repa može donijeti značajne financijske dobiti. Prosječni prinos korijena promatranih godina je 90,6 t/ha, gdje je 2018. godine bio najmanji prinos korijena od 83 t/ha, a 2020. najveći od 110 t/ha. Prosječni sadržaj šećera promatranih godina bio je 16,0%, od kojih najmanji 15,0% bio je 2019. godine, a najveći od 17,5 % 2021. godine. Cilj istraživanja u ovom završnom radu bio je analiziranje vremenskih prilika, provedena agrotehnika te usporedba prinosa korijena i postotka šećerna u šećernoj repi na Obiteljskom poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu „Bešlić Marin“. Za potrebe završnog rada analizirani su petogodišnji podaci (2018. – 2022.). Također, cilj je bio uvidjeti pogreške u proizvodnji koje je potrebno u budućnosti ispraviti.
Abstract (english)
Sugar beet is an important arable crop cultivated for its high sugar content in the root. It is used as a raw material for sugar and other food products. It requires proper agronomy practices and favorable soil and climatic conditions to achieve high yields and sucrose content. The final thesis will cover the fundamental and essential aspects of this arable crop. The focus will be on implementing proper agronomic techniques, including crop rotation, soil cultivation, sowing, fertilization, and plant protection. The significance of adapting to changing weather conditions, which are increasingly variable due to climate change, will also be emphasized. Despite these challenges, sugar beet can generate significant financial profit. The average root yield of the observed years is 90.6 t/ha, where in 2018 the lowest root yield was 83 t/ha, and in 2020 the highest was 110 t/ha. The average sugar content of the observed years was 16.0%, of which the lowest was 15,0% in 2019, and the highest was 17.5% in 2021. The aim of the research in this final paper was to analyze the weather conditions, implemented agrotechnics and compare the yield of roots and the percentage of sugar in sugar beet on the "Bešlić Marin" family farm. Five years of data (2018 – 2022) were analyzed for the purposes of the final paper. Also, the goal was to identify production errors that need to be corrected in the future.
