Abstract
U istraživanju je proučavan alelopatski utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata vrste Aloe vera na klijavost i rast klijanaca salate, rukole i radiča. Vodeni ekstrakti pripremljeni od svježih listova ispitani su u pokusima u Petrijevim zdjelicama u koncentracijama 2, 4, 6, 8 i 10%. Rezultati su pokazali da ekstrakti imaju statistički značajan učinak na klijavost i duljinu izdanka salate, te da se prilikom povećanja koncentracije povećava i negativan utjecaj. S druge strane, pozitivan utjecaj zabilježen je na svježu i suhu masu klijanaca salate. Značajan negativan utjecaj zabilježen je na klijavost i duljinu korijena rukole, dok su svježa i suha masa klijanaca bile stimulirane. Vodeni ekstrakti pokazali su statistički značajan pozitivan utjecaj samo na svježu masu klijanaca radiča.
Abstract (english)
This research studies the allelopathic effect of water extracts of Aloe vera on germination and shoot length of lettuce, salad rocket and radicchio. Water extracts were prepared from fresh leaves and experiments were conducted in Petri dishes at the 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10%. The results indicated that extract concentrations had a statistically significant effect on the germination and shoot length of lettuce, and that the increase of concentration caused the increase of negative effect. On the other hand, positive effect was recorded on fresh and dry weight of lettuce. Statistically negative effect on the germination and root length of salad rocket was found, while stimulation of fresh and dry weight was also recorded. Water extracts indicated a statistically significant effect only on fresh weight of radicchio seedlings.
