Abstract
Globalni trendovi dovode do razvoja brojnih područja, a samim time i razvoja turističke djelatnosti čija se ponuda i potražnja mijenja iz godine u godinu.Suvremena turistička potražnja je pod izravnim utjecajem svih onih promjena što se danas odvijaju na turističkom tržištu .Svakim se danom sve više zemalja uključuje u integracijske procese otvarajući se međunarodnom tržištu tj. širenju svoje turističke ponude . Proces globalizacije postaje nužnost u suvremenom gospodarskom razvoju.Cilj rada je , uz pružanje teorijskog uvida u povijesni razvoj turizma i obilježlja suvremenog turizma , na temelju dostupnih statističkih podataka analizirati turističke pokazatelje prema turističkim regijama kako bi se uočili trendovi i izvršila komparativna analiza među turističkim regijama.Osim toga analizirat ce se promjene svjetske turističke ponude i potražnje, pri čemu će se utvrditi aktivnost turističke ponude poradi davanja odgovora na sve složenije i raznovrsnije zahtjeve turističke potražnje u globalizacijskom okruženju.
Abstract (english)
Global trends are leading to the development of many areas, and therefore development of tourism industry whose offer and demand are changing year after year. Modern tourist demand is under the direct influence of all those changes that are nowadays taking place in tourist market. Each day more and more countries involve in integration processes by opening up to the international market, i.e. expanding their tourist offers. The process of globlization is becoming a requirement in modern economic development. The aim of this study paper along with providing the theoretical insight in historical development of tourism and characteristics of modern touirism, is to analyze tourism indicators according to tourism regions based on available statistical data in order to observe trends and execute comparative analysis among tourist regions. Moreover, paper also researches the changes of the world tourism demand and supply and activities of the tourism supply in order to give the adequate answer on complex and diverse requests of tourism demand in globalization surrounding.
