Abstract Cilj ovog rada je povezivanje i uvođenje koncepata iz fizike atmosfere u redovitu nastavu fizike osnovnih i srednjih škola. Rad može poslužiti kao svojevrstan vodič i dodatna literatura za nastavnike fizike koji bi željeli određene teme, koje se obrađuju u nastavi, povezati s pričama iz područja fizike atmosfere te na taj način učenicima približiti gradivo i učiniti ga zanimljivijim. Atmosfera se ponaša kao idealan plin te je povezana sa širokim rasponom fizikalnih procesa i područja za koje postoji niz primjera koji se mogu uvesti u redovitu nastavu fizike. Na samom početku rada prikazana je atmosfera općenito – njen nastanak, sastav i podjela. Drugi dio sadrži opis elemenata vremena i klime. Na samom početku definiran je pojam zračenja, kao i pojam Sunčevog zračenja i atmosfere te je objašnjen prijenos topline na Zemlji. Na taj način bi se učenicima približilo gradivo o elektromagnetskom zračenju, idealnom crnom tijelu i zakonima zračenja, raspršenju i lomu svjetlosti te zakonu refleksije. U radu je prikazano i nekoliko eksperimenata vezanih za prijenos topline na Zemlji koji se mogu izvesti na nastavi. U nastavku slijedi prikaz još nekoliko meteoroloških elemenata – tlaka, vlage, oblaka i oborina koji su međusobno povezani hidrološkim ciklusom, odnosno kruženjem vode na Zemlji. Detaljnije je objašnjen nastanak oblaka, a posebice oblaka termičke konvekcije uz korištenje znanja o adijabatskim procesima i idealnom plinu. Uz priče iz atmosfere o navedenim meteorološkim elementima, učenici će učiti o agregatnim stanjima, unutarnjoj energiji čestica, prvom zakonu termodinamike i termodinamičkim sustavima i procesima, jednadžbi stanja plina te hidrostatičkoj ravnoteži.
Abstract (english) The aim of this study is to connect and introduce atmospheric physics concepts into regular elementary and secondary school physics classes. This study can serve as a guidebook and additional literature for physics teachers who would like to connect regular class topics with stories from the field of atmospheric physics in order to make physics lessons more understandable and more interesting for students. The atmosphere behaves like an ideal gas and is associated with a wide range of physical processes for which there is a number of examples that can be introduced into regular physics classes. At the very beginning of this study the atmosphere is shown in general - its origin, structure and classification. In the second part, a description of the elements of weather and climate is given. Firstly, the concept of radiation is defined, as well as the concept of solar radiation and the atmosphere. Also, heat transfer on Earth is explained. Through these topics, students would be introduced to electromagnetic radiation, the ideal black body and the laws of radiation, scattering and refraction of light and the law of reflection. The study also presents several experiments related to the transfer of heat on Earth that can be performed in class and which would further familiarize students with the physics school material. Continuing, there is description of few more meteorological elements - pressure, moisture, clouds and precipitation. They are all connected by hydrological cycle which presents circulation of water on Earth. The formation of clouds, especially clouds of thermal convection, is explained in more detail with the use of knowledge about adiabatic processes and ideal gas. Along with stories from the atmosphere about the aforementioned meteorological elements, students will learn about aggregate states, internal energy of particles, the first law of thermodynamics and thermodynamic systems and processes, gas equation and hydrostatic equilibrium.
