Abstract
Glazba utječe na čovjeka i njegovu okolinu na razne načine. Zvučni valovi ulaze u uho te se nakon niza procesa konačno u mozgu formira ono što prepoznajemo kao glazbu. Različiti dijelovi mozga procesiraju različite elemente glazbe (visinu tona, glasnoću, ritam, tempo, melodiju, itd.). Nedostatak sposobnosti procesiranja određenih glazbenih elemenata u mozgu pojedinca naziva se amuzija, a može biti urođena ili stečena. Za sposobnost sinkroniziranog pokretanja tijela uz glazbu zaslužni su zrcalni... More neuroni i PCM model (eng. the predictive coding of music model). Težnja za plesom je također povezana s tradicijom, aktivacijom sustava za nagrađivanje u organizmu, emocijama koje izaziva i povijesnim značajem. I samo slušanje glazbe aktivira centar za nagrađivanje u mozgu te izaziva emocije, što se može opisati s nekoliko psiholoških mehanizama. Glazbene preferencije pojedinaca ovise o kulturi, psihološkim faktorima, izloženosti glazbi, osobnosti, okolini, prijašnjim iskustvima i mnogim drugim faktorima. Glazba djeluje kao sredstvo društvenog povezivanja na psihološkoj i fiziološkoj razini. Učestalo učenje i izvođenje glazbe ostavlja posljedice na anatomsku strukturu mozga te posljedično i na moždane funkcije. Terapija slušanjem glazbe i plesom pomaže ljudima sa psihičkim i fizičkim poteškoćama u oporavku te ima ulogu u općenitom poboljšanju kvalitete života ljudi. Less
Abstract (english)
Music affects humans and their environment in various ways. Sound waves enter the ear and, after a series of processes, transform into music in the brain. Different parts of the brain process different elements of music (pitch, volume, rhythm, tempo, melody, etc.). The lack of ability to process certain musical elements in an individual's brain is called amusia and it can be congenital or acquired. Mirror neurons and the predictive coding of music model are responsible for the ability to move... More the body in sync with music. The desire to dance is also connected with tradition, the activation of the reward system and emotions, and its historical significance. Listening to music also activates the reward center in the brain and evokes emotions, which can be described by several psychological mechanisms. The musical preferences of individuals depend on culture, psychological factors, exposure to music, personality, environment, and previous experiences. Music acts as a mean of social bonding on a psychological and physiological level. Frequent learning and performance of music leaves consequences on the anatomical structure of the brain and, consequently, on brain functions. Music therapy and dancing helps people with mental and physical difficulties in recovery and plays a role in the general improvement of people's quality of life. Less
