Abstract
Glavna strukturalna i funkcionalna obilježja koljena Mollusca, mekušci i nadrazreda Pisces, ribe navedena su u ovom radu. Predstavnici mekušaca raspoređeni su u sedam razreda: Monoplacophora, Aplacophora, Polyplacophora, Scaphopoda, Gastropoda, Bivalvia te Cephalopoda. Taksonomski, nadrazred ribe (Pisces) obuhvaća dva razreda: Chondrichthyes, hrskavičnjače i Osteichthyes, koštunjače. Predstavnici puževa, školjkaša i glavonošaca te mnoge ribe važan su izvor hrane za ljudski rod. Hrana iz mora važan je izvor hranjivih tvari poput omega-3 masnih kiselina, proteina, vitamina A, D, E i B12, joda, selena, željeza i cinka. Pogodnosti za ljudsko zdravlje koje proizlaze iz konzumacije riba i mekušaca od velike su koristi za ljudski organizam.
Abstract (english)
The main structural and functional characteristic of phylum Mollusca (Molluscs) and superclass Pisces (Fishes) are described in the present study. Representatives of phylum Mollusca are arranged in seven classes: Monoplacophora, Aplacophora, Polyplacophora, Scaphopoda, Gastropoda, Bivalvia and Cephalopoda. Taxonomically, superclass Pisces includes two classes: Chondrichthyes, cartilaginous fishes and Osteichthyes, bony fishes. Seafood, primarily fishes and molluscs, are important sources for vital nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, vitamin A, D, E and B12, iodine, selenium, iron and zinc. Benefits for human health which are the result of fish and molluscs consumption have great significant for human body.
