Abstract
Carstvo gljiva je vrlo raznoliko s vrstama koje rastu kao jednostanični kvasci do razgranatih cjevastih stanica koje se nazivaju hife i proizvode značajan broj različitih spora. Stanična stjenka daje gljivici oblik i čvrstoću te ima važnu ulogu u interakciji s okolinom. Cilj ovog rada je opisati ulogu stanične stjenke roda Aspergillus, njezin sastav te građu i karakteristike pojedinih dijelova stanične stjenke.
Abstract (english)
The fungal kingdom is very diverse, with species growing as unicellular yeasts and/or branching hyphae that produce a remarkable array of spores and other reproductive structures. In each case, the shape and integrity of the fungus is dependent upon the mechanical strength of the cell wall, which performs a wide range of essential roles during the interaction of the fungus with its environment. The aim of this study is to describe the role of fungal cell wall in Aspergillus spp. its composition and to describe each component of the cell wall individually.
