Abstract Suvremeni pristup nastavi u online okruženju može predstavljati izazove pri učenju i poučavanju u odnosu na klasičnu nastavu. Jasno definirani ishodi pomažu u organizaciji aktivnosti kojima polaznici stječu opće i stručne kompetencije. Informacijsko-komunikacijska tehnologija je samo alat za realizaciju aktivnosti stjecanja kompetencija. Naglasak mora biti na metodičkom oblikovanju nastavnog procesa. Cilj istraživanja je ustanoviti kvalitetu provedene online nastave na Učiteljskom fakultetu Odsjeka u Čakovcu tijekom ljetnog semestra akademske godine 2019./2020. Postavljeno je pet hipoteza kojima se ispituju odnosi između provedenih nastavnih aktivnosti u online okruženju i stjecanja općih kompetencija studenata (1). Nadovezujući se na to, sljedeća hipoteza (2) ispituje odnos provedenih aktivnosti i korištenja Web 2.0 alata. Nadalje, preostale tri hipoteze ispituju razinu stečenih općih kompetencija (3) i postignute ocjene (4) s obzirom na opće podatke studenata. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 118 ispitanika, studenata Učiteljskog fakulteta Odsjeka u Čakovcu. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata, može se zaključiti da je online nastava na Učiteljskom fakultetu Odsjeka u Čakovcu poticala na stjecanje i razvoj općih kompetencija studenata. Prelazak na online oblik nastave dogodio se iznenada što je zahtijevalo brzu prilagodbu od strane predavača, ali i polaznika. Međutim, rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da je moguće postići kvalitetu nastave u online okruženju. Svrha istraživanja je ukazati na važnost provođenja nastavnih aktivnosti kojima se potiče razvoj općih kompetencija studenata. Isto tako, svrha ovog istraživanja je i potaknuti veću primjenu Web 2.0 alata kako bi se poboljšala kvaliteta nastavnog procesa u online okruženju. Online nastava donosi prednosti i nedostatke u odnosu na klasičnu nastavu, pri čemu se rješenje iskazuje u kombinaciji, odnosno mješovitom obliku nastave.
Abstract (english) Contemporary approaches to online classes can present challenges in both learning and teaching when compared to regular classes. Clearly defined teaching targets help organizing activities through which students acquire general and professional competence. Information - communication technology is only a tool for completing activities which lead to acquiring competence. The focus has to be placed on the methodical shaping of the teaching process. The goal of this research is to establish the quality of online classes taught during the summer term of 2019/2020 at the Teacher training college, Čakovec department. Five different hypotheses were set up to research the relation between the online class activities and students acquiring general competence. (1) Related to that, the next hypothesis (2) researches the relation between the activities carried out and usage of Web 2.0 tools. Furthermore, the remaining three hypotheses research the level of acquired general competence (3) and the achieved grade (4) based on the students’ general data. 118 students took part in the research, all of them students at the Teacher training college, Čakovec department. Based on the results of the research, one can conclude that online classes at Teacher training college, Čakovec department has encouraged acquirement and development of students’ general competence. Transfer to online classes happened suddenly which required quick adjustment both from teachers and students. However, the results of the research show that it is possible to maintain high teaching quality in online classes. The goal of this research is to point out the importance of implementing class activities that encourage the development of students’ general competence. Besides, usage of Web 2.0 tools should be encouraged to ensure the improvement of online teaching. Online classes bring forward advantages and disadvantages when compared with regular classes, while the solution of the problem lies in combined classes.
