To će rezultirati time da će učenici s užitkom ići u škole, zadovoljno će pratiti nastavu i samopouzdano i hrabro predstavljati svoje misli.
Abstract (english) Creativity is one of the most sought after of the 21st century. There is almost no job interview that does not require its future employees to be creative in every segment of its performance and execution. Every individual is born with an imagination and it is present in childhood, but as we grow up, we apply that imagination less and less. Precisely because of this, creativity should be encouraged and valued from the very beginning of schooling, already in preschool age and in primary education. One of the key areas of creativity is Art because it allows the free expression of thoughts, feelings, and ideas through various art techniques. Although the traditional school does not place much emphasis about Art, this subject is important because it encourages the development of divergent thinking and the ability to create new ideas and solutions. Also, Art can correlate with other subjects of primary education and offer the concretization of a problem or idea (e.g., making posters, drawing mental maps, etc.). The notion of creation is crucial to today’s modern world because without creativity we would not be witnessing today’s advances in technology. Therefore, the role of the teacher is to create a pleasant and positive classroom atmosphere that will allow students complete freedom of expression. This will result in students going to schools with pleasure, they will be happy to follow classes and present their thoughts confidently and boldly. The aim of this theoretical work is to investigate how the environment affects children’s creativity with an emphasis on artistic expression. During university education, we are taught that teachers must approach to students with ‘modern’ solutions which means that both teachers and students have freedom in work and learning and that teachers in their work affirm an individual approach to each student. It is freedom that creates a creative teacher who will positively influence his students and enable them to develop and practice the creative thinking that is so valued in today’s world.
