Abstract Slikovnica je prva knjiga s kojom se dijete susreće u životu i ima ulogu „prozora“ u svijet nepoznat djetetu. Kroz slikovnicu dijete uči o sebi i o svijetu koji ga okružuje.
Gledajući u povijest, iz početaka nastajanja slikovnice vidljivo je koliko su se njezina funkcija i sadržaj promijenili do danas. U radu se naglašava uloga problemske slikovnice, koliko ona može utjecati na oblikovanje dječjeg mišljenja, na njegovo ponašanje te kako je odavno priznato terapeutsko sredstvo. Ova dječja knjiga savjetuje, pomaže i iscjeljuje te je temelj na kojem počiva pojam biblioterapije.
U radu je navedeno nekoliko primjera problemskih slikovnica koje se često koriste u odgojno-obrazovnoj praksi. Cilj je ohrabriti dijete i dati mu uvid da je problem ili emocija koja ga muči u redu te mu ponuditi mogućnost i različitost rješenja određene situacije. Čitanje i slušanje priča umiruje, pomaže i pokazuje djeci da nisu sama u onome što prolaze.
Kako bi se privukla djetetova pažnja, slikovnica treba biti zabavna, što je preduvjet da poruka dođe do djeteta i zadrži njegovu pažnju. Slikovnica može biti dobar uvod u različite aktivnosti,koje će također potaknuti razvoj kreativnosti i mašte. Dramatizacijom slikovnica djecu se uvodi u svijet kazališta u kojem se mogu izraziti, biti svoji ili netko drugi. Stvaranje mašte i razvijanje socijalnih vještina s vršnjacima ujedno stvara i prva prijateljstva. Slikovnica može poslužiti kao dobar temelj za stvaranje sretne i zadovoljne osobe koja je od djetinjstva dobro naučila kako prihvatiti sebe i prihvatiti različitosti koje nas okružuju.
Abstract (english) A picture book is the first book that child meets in its life and it has a role of the „window“ to the world in the world which is unknown to the child. Through a picture book a child learns about itself and about the surrounding world.
Observing the history, from the start of the formation of the picture book, it is visible how much its function and content have been changed till now. In this work it is stressed the role of the problem picture book, how much it can influence on the formation of the child's opinion, on its behaviour and how it has already been recognized as therapeutical medium.
This children book gives tips, helps and heals and is a base of the concept of bibliotherapy.
In the work there were mentioned a few examples of the problem picture books, which are often used in educational praxis. The target is to encourage the child and give it the insight that the issue or the emotion that bothers it is fine, and to offer it the possibility and the diversity of the solutions of one situation. Listening and hearing of the stories calms down, helps and shows to the children that they are not alone in this that they are going through.
To attract the children’s attention, a picture book needs to be funny, which is a prerequisite for the message to arrive to the child and keep its attention. A picture book can be a good medium of the further activities, development of the creativity and imagination.
By dramatization of the picture books, the children are introduced to the world of the theatre, where they could express themselves, be themselves or someone else. Creation of the imagination and developing of the social skills with the peers also makes the first friendships. A picture book can be a good base for making a happy and pleased person, which has, since the childhood, taught very well how to accept oneself and accept the differences that surround us.
