Abstract (english) This thesis examines the impact of 3D technologies and their application in education, with a specific emphasis on investigating how CAD modeling affects social innovations driven by 3D technologies. The main objective of the thesis is to explore ways in which 3D technologies can be used to address social challenges, particularly in the context of accessibility and product personalization for individuals with disabilities, as well as in the creation of an urban 3D model. The research will involve a review of relevant literature, empirical research on the production process, and a visit to the city of Kongsberg in Norway to collect 3D model images for detailed consideration. One of the specific examples discussed in the thesis is the 3D-printed model of an urban environment in Norway, which is used for the education of various age groups. This model is designed to provide a spatial tactile experience for individuals with visual impairments or difficulties in understanding spatial environments. The advantage of this optimized model lies in its use in gamification, where education is conducted through play. This educational approach combines elements of gaming to provide an educational experience. Key features of this educational toy include its multidisciplinarity, allowing children and adults to explore different areas, develop logical thinking, and navigate in topographical environments.
