During October, the DABAR team submitted applications for 16 repositories to the Directory of Open Access Repositories (OpenDOAR). The primary goal of registretion in OpenDOAR is to enhance the visibility of institutions, their repositories, and the content within repositories.
At the annual conference SRCE e-Infrastructure Days - SRCE DEI 2021, as part of the thematic block “Information and data in science”, an award was given to repositories in DABAR for promoting open access. The winners of the award for promoting open access are the following repositories:
For a couple of years now, SRCE has not only been applying open access, but has also been activly promoting it in Croatia. In order to encourage and raise awareness of the open acess principles, from 19th to 23rd October SRCE participated in the International Open Access Week – Open for Collaboration (learn more at http://www.openaccessweek.org).
