30 thousand objects in Dabar's repositories

The number of digital objects stored in Dabar has reached 30,000. This number includes evaluation papers (bachelor’s, diploma and specialist theses, doctoral dissertations, and PhD theses), their additions and new digital objects – papers published in journals.

After a workshop was held at Srce, the institutions have started submitting the papers published in journals. So far, 95 papers have been stored (94 of which are in open access). With 25 papers stored each, the institutions which have stored the most papers are:

New digital objects in DABAR – doctoral dissertations

On 8th December 2015, support for uploading dissertations as the new type of digital object has been implemented into the Digital Academic Archives and Repositories - the DABAR system. A detailed metadata description of dissertations has been developed as a result of a cooperation between the National and University Library in Zagreb and SRCE and it is available, in Croatian, at DABAR’s web site.

International Open Access Week – DABAR's contribution to open acess in Croatia

For a couple of years now, SRCE has not only been applying open access, but has also been activly promoting it in Croatia. In order to encourage and raise awareness of the open acess principles, from 19th to 23rd October SRCE participated in the International Open Access Week – Open for Collaboration (learn more at http://www.openaccessweek.org).
