The codling moth, Cydia pomonella, is the most important apple pest in Croatia. This research was made to follow a dynamic population of codling moths in the college orchard Jazbina, and an apple orchard Obreška. The monitoring of the moth flight in the orchard Jazbina was conducted from April 25th to July 31st, 2018, and also from May 9th to July 31st, 2019. For monitoring of codling moth population of, pheromone traps, as well as attractant Bisex were used. In the Obreška orchard, in 2018, mating disruption method for codling moth was applide, so the research was done in order to evaluate female popuation by using only Bisex trap. On the part of the orchard where mating disruption was not implemented, for pest monitoring pheromone traps were used. In 2018 in orchard Jazbina a total of 11 moths at Bisex trap and 75 moths on pheromone trap were caught. In 2019 trap a total of 27 moths on Bisex trap and 133 moths on pheromone trap were caught. In orchard Obreška on the part with mating disruption at Bisex trap 14 females were caught in 2018. At pheromone trap outside mating disruption in 2018. Were caught 28 moths, an 79 moths in 2019. Because the attraction of Bisex trap is not so efficient as pheromone trap, Bisex trap can be used to estimate determine the presence of females in the orchard where mating disruption is implemented.
