The aim of the research was to determine the influence of the row spacing and cultivar on the yield and yield components of oil pumpkin. The research included row spacing of 0.9 m and 2.0 m as well as two cultivares. The cultivares used in this research were Gleisdorfer ölkürbis and GL rustikal. The row spacing significantly influenced the number of fruits per plant, the mass of fruits, the yield of fruits and the yield of wet seeds per hectare. Significantly higher number of fruits per plant (1.64 plants / plants) and larger fruits (4.54 kg) were achieved at a row spacing of 2.0 m. At the same row spacing there was a significantly higher yield of fruits (62.761 kg) and yield of wet seeds (2,335 kg) per hectare. The choice of cultivars was significantly influenced by the number of fruits per plant and mass of fruits. At roughly the same density of the plant, the GL rustikal cultivar had a significantly higher number of fruit per plant (1.53 fruit/plants) compared to the cultivar Gleisdorfer ölkürbis, and the cultivar Gleisdorfer ölkürbis had a significantly higher mass of fruits (4.74 kg) than cultivars GL rustikal. Cultivator Gleisdorfer ölkürbis had a significantly higher yield per hectare (58,466 kg) than the GL rustikal cultivar. The mass of wet fruit seeds, the yield of wet seeds per hectare did not differ significantly between cultivars.
