The processing of research on the subject of business analysis of the company Valamar d.d. is very interesting and demanding, because it includes a broad concept of various information about the activities of a large company that generates high revenues and employs a large volume of human labour through various knowledge and resources, and is very interesting for various stakeholders. The basic financial statements of the balance sheet, the profit and loss account, and the cash flow statement can give us a picture of a business, but only their analysis gives a broader picture of how potentially successful or unsuccessful all these figures are. The analyzes that were carried out were horizontal and vertical analysis, as well as analysis of financial indicators (indicators of liquidity, indebtedness, activity, economy, profitability, and investment) with the help of which a financial picture was successfully obtained that showed how well the company operates, and how much the economic crisis had an impact to Valamar d.d. company. Systems of financial indicators (Altman Z-Score, Kralicek's DF indicator) were also implemented, based on which the stability of the company was evaluated. A comparative analysis of competing companies showed that the company Valamar d.d. is listed in a very profitable and strong market.
