The topic of the paper is closely related to the warehouses and the processes that unite them. The process that today represents an increasing need to introduce better solutions and reduce costs relates to the commissioning process. The warehousing process is the basis for a number of potential solutions listed in the paper. The paper is intended for every individual who is interested in knowledge about logistics processes and how they are implemented in practice. Through a practical and economical way, the commissioning processes in the warehouse are presented and improvements of certain processes are offered. The first part of the paper deals with commissioning as a process that takes place in a warehouse, and the second part shows the commissioning process in a specific example of the Metro in Rijeka. The first part of the paper presents the methods, problems and many other factors that affect the speed and accuracy of commissioning of shipments processed by employees. In the second part of the paper, the aim was to show the commissioning process that is happening around us and to notice certain problems in the process that can be improved. Consequently, the information used in the paper was taken mostly from secondary sources, while primary sources are evident in experienced staff who present and solve process problems. The goal is to offer each individual as concrete solutions as possible during employment, and thinking about them is the beginning of progress. The results of the research show how theory differs from practice and, with the help of previous knowledge, offer solutions such as changing the schedule of commissioned orders as well as more accurate monitoring of stocks that are in the process of commissioning.
