The topic of this thesis is the analysis of the logistic system of the company DHL. Logistics management is well integrated into the management of the DHL company, which results in one of the leading positions in the field of logistics on a global level. High-quality management of the supply chain has a significant impact on the reduction of operating costs, thereby contributing to an increase in profits. Also, when implemented effectively, supply chain management helps a company gain a competitive advantage by delivering products to customers faster. Considering the size and global coverage of DHL, it is evident that this provides customers with numerous advantages. However, taking into account the turbulence of that same market, DHL must also be aware of its shortcomings, which must be kept under control, in order to maintain its leading position. Taking into account the changing demographics, technological advances, digitization and the consequences of the pandemic, it can be said that changes are also happening in the logistics industry. Humans working with robots, flexible work systems and continuous learning and training are important aspects of DHL's (future) business to remain competitive and to attract and retain the workforce.
