The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major changes in the world market which has forced the companies to change the way they do business in order to survive. The main goal of this paper is to investigate and describe how the COVID-19 pandemic is reflected in the way technology companies operate. Significant changes were highlighted here, such as the emergence of increasing use of social networks as a means of promoting products and companies, opening a web store and introducing new information technologies in the company. There is also a comparison of the new way of doing business caused by the corona crisis and the classic way of doing business where workers are physically present in the company. In this segment, platforms used by employees and employers, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, e-mail are analyzed. In this way, it is shown how much the pandemic affected the accelerated digitalization of the company. In addition to the analysis of the same digitalization of the company, a survey was conducted on the workers of certain companies in order to establish the negative and positive effects of work from home, but also in order for employees to adapt to the new situation. Of course, every change in the market brings different opportunities, such as in this case the digital transformation and faster implementation of new technology, all in order to maintain connectivity in times of crisis that negatively affects globalization.
