Sažetak | Snažni razvoj gospodarstva i trgovine te ubrzani porast svjetskog stanovništva doprinio je povećanju važnosti mora kao prijevoznog puta za robe i putnike. Samim time, pomorski sustav kao dio prometnog sustava dobio je na značaju za cijelo društvo i gospodarstvo. Fokus rada je na pomorskom prometu roba, premda se manji dio analize bavi i pomorskim prometom putnika kako bi se dobila cjelokupna slika. Radom se obuhvaća nekoliko važnih komponenti a to su ona menadžerska, teorijska, gospodarska i tehnološka. Predmet ovog rada je prikupljanje saznanja o postojećim rizicima u pomorskom prometu, točnije, u pomorskom prijevozu robe. Pomoću statističkih podataka nastoje se prikazati trendovi pomorskog prometa kroz zadnja dva desetljeća. Svrha rada je prikazati stanje pomorskog prometa u Republici Hrvatskoj, kontejnerski promet u lukama, procese upravljanja pomorskim prijevozom robe i glavne aktere u tom sektoru prijevoza. U radu je provedeno i primarno istraživanje putem intervjua. Intervjuiran je iskusni prvi časnik broda prekooceanske plovidbe koji je potvrdio da upravljanje rizicima počinje već od strateške razine te da je pojedine rizike u prekooceanskom pomorskom prometu teško predvidjeti. Navodi kako posebnu pozornost treba staviti na iznenadne događaje poput vremenskih neprilika, krađe i otmice te pogreške ljudskog faktora, kao i to da pri upravljanju rizicima treba koristiti mjere poput rotacije osoblja pri upravljanju rizicima, većeg angažiranja iskusnih zaposlenika te osiguranje tereta. Što se tiče tehnologije, navodi kako je ona korisna, međutim, ne može u potpunosti zamijeniti čovjeka. |
Sažetak (engleski) | Strong economic and trade development has been accelerate growth of the world's population contributed and increase the importance of the transport route for goods and passengers. As a result, the maritime system as a part of the transport system gained importance for the entire society and economy. The motive for writing the paper was found in an effort to consider the specifics of maritime traffic management. The focus of the work is on the maritime transport of goods, although a certain part of the analysis also deals with the maritime transport of passengers in order to get the overall picture. The work includes several important components, namely managerial, theoretical, economic and technological. The paper is divided into a total of five chapters - an introductory part, an elaboration where is presented the current situation and concepts, elaborated theory, empirical part containing research and conclusion at the end. The subject and goal of this paper will be focused on the collection of knowledge about the existing risks in maritime transport, more precisely, in the maritime transport of goods. Statistical data shows the trends of maritime traffic over the last two decades. The purpose of the work is to present the state of maritime transport in the Republic of Croatia, container traffic in ports, management processes of maritime transport of goods and the main actors in that transport sector. The paper also contains primary research through interview. An experienced first officer of an ocean-going ship, which was interviewed, confirmed that risk management starts at the strategic level and that certain risks in ocean-going shipping are difficult to predict. Respondent states that special attention should be paid to sudden risk events such as bad weather, theft and kidnapping, as well as human factor errors. Risk measures may help, especially staff rotation in risk management, greater engagement of experienced employees and cargo insurance. About technology, he states that it is useful, but, it cannot completely replace humans. |
