In light of the recent Covid-19 pandemic and movement restrictions, the topic of the thesis "E- learning and its future in the post-pandemic world" is extremely relevant. Due to the amount of use during the pandemic period, the advantages and disadvantages of this form of education can be analyzed. The subject of the paper is e-learning and all its forms. The goal is to get a clear picture of the future of this form of education. The paper will explain how this form of education developed and will analyze the areas in which it could be further developed. The paper will analyze the principles on which e-learning is based and will analyze the requirements from the aspect of technology for the efficient implementation of e-learning. After a general analysis of e- learning, the adaptation of students and lecturers to e-learning during the pandemic period and the success of this form of education during that period will be analyzed. Research by other authors during the pandemic period will serve as a theoretical basis for predicting the future of this model of education and as a basis for the empirical part of the work. Through research conducted during the pandemic, the advantages and disadvantages of e-learning will be known, and with the help of these results, a survey questionnaire will be developed for conducting empirical research. The aim of the empirical research is to find out how the advantages and disadvantages of e-learning affect its development in a world where the health situation is not a factor that directly affects the method of education. The methodology of the empirical part of the research is a qualitative research conducted through a survey created on the Google forms platform, which will be filled out by students from several different faculties in order to eliminate the influence of the institution's level of preparation for this form of education on the students' objective view of e-learning.
