Japan is one of the world's leading economies and is known specifically for its unique blend of culture and tradition. If one was to consider their economy, Japan as a country is famous for its successful market and high quality exports. Japan is also famous for its robotics and electronics. But, despite being known globally as hardworking people with a high level of social and economic development, today their economy is staggering and falling behind. On the other hand, if we consider the political ideology of Japan – communalism – whose concept is placing the society’s interests ahead of the state's which brought them to a system where their people place their professional career at the very top of their priorities in life. Japanese people use diverse methods to attaining their goals and meeting the expectations of their superiors. From such devotion and commitment their salaries are secondary and reaching their full potential is one of the driving forces behind their economy. However, such a regime can be a double edged sword and that is what will be the focus of this work. The purpose of communalism is that dedication to your work will bring happiness to you, and that also results in a greater wellbeing for the nation as a whole.
