This specialist postgraduate work was conceived in six chapters which combine the phenomenon of corporate governance in the co-operative enterprises. After the introductory chapter that defines the subject, purpose and objectives of the work, and elaborating the content and structure of the same, three theoretical chapters deal with issues of corporate governance. The chapters are titled as follows: "Corporate governance", which explained the basics of corporate governance; "Cooperative enterprise as a phenomenon of corporate governance", which explained the basics of a co-operative enterprises in the context of the phenomenon of corporate governance; "The system of co-operatives in the Republic of Croatia", which explains the trends of development of co-operatives in Croatia. After the theoretical part, the fifth chapter, entitled "A case study on the example of co-operative enterprise Mondragón" represents the research part of the work, where with the secondary empirical research, case study method, represents the practice of management in the most popular co-operative enterprise in the world. The work concludes with an appropriate conclusion, followed by the corresponding lists of figures, abstract in Croatian and English language and the biography of the candidate. The aim of this specialist postgraduate work is to show the advantages and disadvantages of the system of co-operative governance and explore ways in which a company with a co-operative management system can fight and become one of the most successful in the country. This work can be the basis for any new research that will be conducted on the subject topic.
