This specialist postgraduate work deals with the topic of Croatia's export potential to emerging markets in five chapters with an analysis of the current export competitiveness of the Republic of Croatia and emerging markets with special emphasis on the group of BRICS countries. The main goal of the paper was to conduct empirical research through interviews in order to explore the growth potential of Croatian exports in growing markets. Specific research goals within this specialist postgraduate work were conducted and were related to analyzing the general situation and development of exports in the Republic of Croatia, analyzing developments in emerging markets and their impact on the global economy, and analyzing Croatian exports in growing markets. The results of the research primarily indicate the importance of the company's export orientation, which brings the company profit growth, risk dispersion and independence from only one market. Furthermore, investing in research and development, technology and knowledge, all for the purpose of creating innovative quality products that stand out from the s global mass production, is the only right path for Croatian exporters. The creation of final products with added value, whether in the form of technology or quality, achieves competitiveness in the global market, so even with a significantly higher price, placement in export markets is not lacking.
