The analysis of pay satisfaction in organizations is the subject of numerous researches. Furthermore, more and more research is dedicated to the research of remuneration in small and medium organizations. It is important to establish an attractive reward system because such reward system encourages employee motivation, which ultimately results in the achievement of organization’s objectives. Furthermore, it is necessary to align the company's strategy with the reward strategy. As everyone in the market is fighting for talented employees, small and medium organizations should pay even more attention to rewarding employees because employees might change their employer if another organization offers better working conditions, so it is important to create an attractive reward system. According to previous research, benefits have been found to be an important variable that affects salary satisfaction, but also job engagement. The aim of this work is to explore general pay satisfaction in small, medium and large organizations, and which aspects most and least motivate employees to be satisfied with their pay. The research aims to determine the level of pay satisfaction in small, medium and large organizations. This work consists of a theoretical part on the specifics of reward systems in small, medium and large organizations, and on the concept and general determinants of pay satisfaction. The second part of the work consists of empirical research and proven research results. Respondents were found to be more satisfied with salary in small organizations than in medium and large organizations
