Aim oft he research: To examine the opinion of Nursing students about the effectiveness of online teaching. Study design: cross – sectional research Subjects and Methods: The study participants were Nursing students who filled out an anonymous questionnaire via an online form. Respondents voluntarily participated in the study and their privacy was maximally protected. The study involved 102 undergraduated and graduated Nursing students in the period of 3 months in 2021. A questionnaire with 32 questions was used during the research. Results: The study consisted mostly of woman with a median age of 31 years and the subjects ranged from 20 to 59 years of age. The largest number of respondents are employed in a state instititions while only a small number of participants work in the private sector. The questionnaire was mostly filled out by students of higher years of study and almost all of them have an uninterrupted source of electricity and access to the Internet with good connectivity. Most respondents receive a lecture schedule via e-mail one or two days before the start of the lecture. They listen to classes for an average of 3 hours a day and usually take one course. For respondents of higher years of study the online way of teaching suits them very much while younger respondents do not share their opinion. There is no significant gender difference in terms of the effectiveness of online teaching. The vast majority of respondents believe that each student has the opportunity to participate and suggest ideas during online classes. Conclusion: Almost all of the respondents confirmed that online way of teaching is very effective and they always will choose online way before traditional way. Respondents employed in a state institutions think that online way of teaching give them satisfying amount of interaction between teacher and students while almost all of the respondents confirmed that all necessary learning materials are very accessible on online teaching platforms.
