Integrated solar power plants represent a solution for saving electricity as well as economic savings. The technology is CO2 free, available all through Europe while reducing dependence on electricity import. In the summer months, they can sometimes completely replace energy consumption and sell the rest of the electricity to the grid. Within this thesis, an analysis of the conceptual design for a new solar power plant in the Republic of Croatia in Križevci, at the location of the Križevci development Centre, was made. Within the analysis, mathematical, economic and energy budgets of the project were calculated. An analysis of the system is given along with the electricity production on an hourly basis throughout the year in the form of 2 scenarios, one with the maximum area of PV panels and the other depending on the electricity consumption at the location. The thesis uses the PVsyst program, which creates a more realistic production of the PV system through geographical factors of the location. In order to determine the most financially profitable scenario of the system, an economic analysis of the project was made according to the NPV methodology and the IRR methodology and the discounted investment return period method. The most profitable scenario was Scenario 2 where PV panels are designed according to system consumption (100% of the system consumption is covered), Scenario 1 with maximum production did not show the desired result, such a project turned out to be unprofitable.
