Project-oriented teaching is one of the modern forms of teaching Science and Social Studies. With this form of teaching, the teacher is oriented towards his students. Furthermore, projectoriented teaching develops students’ research spirit and develops cognitive, organizational and communication skills. The great advantage of project-oriented teaching is the fact that collaborative learning prevails. A healthy diet at school age is very significant because, apart from the fact that it allows body to function, it allows harmonious growth and development when the biggest changes are happening. Conducting this research, we wanted to examine whether there is a difference in diet of students of fourth grade before the education on healthy diet and after the education on healthy diet. In order to achieve the goal of the research, the project “Healthy Diet” was done and two questionnaires were conducted. Eighteen students, that is ten girls and eight boys, of fourth grade of Elementary School Kman-Kocunar from Split participated in this research. Results obtained show that being educated about healthy diet, students show positive changes in a healthier way of eating. The aim of this project and work was to bring students closer to the term of healthy diet and to encourage them to have a healthier diet.
