The aim of this study was to examine the attitudes and experiences of teachers on the use of motives of the Cetinska Krajina and their importance in the overall development of students. In this study we wanted to examine how many teachers are using motifs of the Cetinska Krajina in the city and how many in villages. The research was conducted in a primary school in the city of Sinj, the regional school in the village of Potravlje and the regional school in the village of Karakašica, involving a total of 16 teachers. Research results show that teachers consider motivation a key factor in the success of an art's class, as it is the initiator of childhood imagination. Teachers consider it important to change the types of motifs in teaching visual arts and to introduce students to cultural heritage. Although they consider it extremely important to introduce students to cultural heritage during art's classes, not many use the motifs of the Cetinska Krajina for teaching. Teachers of city schools are more likely to use the Cetinska Krajina motifs. To teach pupils about the motifs of the Cetinska Krajina, teachers mostly use: images, photographs, artwork, texts, stage play, music, observation, talk, demonstrations, visiting museums and galleries, visiting monuments, participating in workshops. Students mostly respond well to the motives of the Cetinska Krajina.
