In the paper „Vocal hygiene in education of pre-school teachers “, the content of the undergraduate programs for Early and pre-school education at Faculty of Education of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek is analyzed. The introduction elaborates on vocal hygiene and its importance. The goal of this paper is to enhance the quality of pre-school teacher education by providing key training on vocal hygiene. Vocal hygiene is extremely important for pre-school teachers to preserve their voice and enable effective communication with children. The emphasis is on importance of proper breathing, voice warm-up exercises, and techniques for maintaining a healthy vocal apparatus. Research was conducted to determine the integration of vocal hygiene content in the theoretical and practical aspects of the study program of the undergraduate program for Early and pre-school education at the Faculty of Education of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. With the previously stated, there was also a research conducted in the appearance of the term vocal hygiene in undergraduate study program for Early and Pre-school education. The findings suggest that today's undergraduate study program for Early and pre-school education in Osijek lack conscious inclusion of vocal hygiene in the curriculum, indicating a potential for improvement by adding related content to existing courses or introducing new courses focusing on vocal hygiene.
