In this master's thesis, we addressed the topic related to the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Hydrography. The introduction sets the goal of the paper, which is to analyze the current state of AI application in hydrography and identify potential advantages and challenges. The review of existing literature provides insight into the history and development of hydrography, the definition of AI, its historical development, and its general application. The methodology includes the analysis of available data sources and literature. In the section on hydrography, we discuss the history and development, as well as the nature of hydrographic activities, including hydrographic surveying. The advantages of hydrography are highlighted, while addressing the challenges. The section on AI defines the term, provides a historical overview, and highlights the advantages and challenges.
