The subject of this thesis is the relationship between China and the United States (USA) in the period of the global economic crisis. The aim of the paper is to confirm the thesis that the global economic crisis has had a significant impact on the relations between the two countries, the politics of each country separately, and given their size, a significant impact on the whole world. The paper presents key events that took place during the crisis and affected the relations between the two countries and, consequently the rest of the world, taking into account the size and the importance of both countries. International political relations is a discipline that portrays the relations of two or more countries, presenting political events and situations that have occurred between the two countries in order to identify particular factors of behavior between countries or their differences. Given that this paper portrays the two great powers of the world and seeks to determine how relations between them have greatly influenced the future of their diplomatic relations, and thus affected the rest of the world, this discipline has been used in this work as well. The paper is trying to show the measured impact of the events that occurred in the global economic crisis period and to show whether they preceded the global economic crisis and thus affected it or were they affected by the global economic crisis. Ultimately, the impact of these events on the economic structures of both countries and the political relations between them will be outlined. International political relations as a discipline is a branch of political science that studies a country's foreign policy within the international system. International relations also address the role of international organizations and corporations and major global issues.
