By virtue of its action, the neural system connects the functions of all organs and organs in the body, thus enabling the organism to function as a whole. In the body as well as in its environment, certain stimuli are constantly occurring that the nervous system receives and processes. It is precisely in it that forms a response that is transmitted in the form of impulses to the executive organs where reactions are being made. The theme of this paper is the peripheral nervous system, the peripheral nerves. The peripheral nervous system is composed of peripheral nerves, that is, 12 pairs of brain nerve and 31 pairs of lumbar nerves that stretch across the entire body. The peripheral system is divided into somatic and autonomous. It's a functional division. The somatic nervous system manages voluntary physical activity while autonomously manages vital functions. The aim of this paper is to investigate the peripheral nervous system, or peripheral nerves. It is necessary to find out how the function works, which is their fundamental significance, and what is the potential for damage to the peripheral nervous system or peripheral nerves.
