Introduction: Communication is one of the main components of each organization. Insufficient exchange of information leads to insecurity and enhances alienation, and the behaviour of employees creates a significant impact on the organization's reputation. From the said reasons, the question is raised, as to what the internal communication in primary health care is like, and what the level of employees' satisfaction is, regarding the communication climate. Aims of research: The aim of this research is to investigate the level of satisfaction with communication, and the relations among employees within primary health care. The specific objectives of the paper were ti investigate how satisfied employees are with communication within organization in relation to the level of education of respondents, communication with superiors, horizontal communication, corporate information and the quality of communication media. Methods and respondents: for the purposes of this research, a survey questionnaire was used which the respondents filled out anonymously and voluntarily. Ninety primary health care workers of the Community health centre of Primorje-Gorski kotar County has taken part in the research. Results: Employees are most satisfied with horizontal communication . The lowest level of satisfaction has been shown in feedback information and corporate communication. Majority of the subscales was graded with a neutral mark. Primary health care employees were not satisfied with internal communication. The results have indicated that workers with the lowest level of education have shown greater level of satisfaction with communication. Conclusion: Most respondents are satisfied with the colleagues, team members and the availibility of the colleagues. Dissatisfaction with feedbeck and corporate communication indicates to us the need to improve open two-way communication . Respondents with a higher level of education expressed greater dissatisfaction with internal communication so we hope that this research will help the management of the organization improve the quality of internal communication in the future.
