In this thesis, a project for the drainage of sanitary wastewater in the central part of the town of Ivanec, located in Varaždin County, is developed. For the purpose of this thesis, data from spatial planning documentation and agglomeration projects obtained from the city’s public water supply and sewage provider, Ivkom-vode d.o.o., were used. In the introductory part of the thesis, the geological, spatial, relief, and climatic characteristics of the settlement are described. In the agglomeration project of the town of Ivanec, a combined drainage system was chosen, but this thesis elaborates on the option of constructing a system for the drainage of only sanitary wastewater (as part of a separate drainage system). The project analysis of this thesis pertains to the sanitary part of the drainage, and the following sections describe the features and technical elements of the sanitary sewage network. The creation of elements of the sanitary sewage network and the calculation of flow and hydraulic analysis were conducted using the software package Urbano Canalis 11.2 from Studio Ars d.o.o. The hydraulic calculation performed in the Urbano Canalis software is described in detail, while the pump calculation software used was from Grundfos, and the static calculation of collectors was performed using EasyPipe98 software. Approximate cost estimates show the necessary works, as well as the quantities and prices of the same, which cumulatively provide the value of the project. The final section includes graphical attachments that encompass the system layout, longitudinal profiles of the collectors, characteristic trench cross-sections, details of inspection and cascade manholes, and the pumping station.
