In this thesis, the topic of "Durability of Concrete Structures" is covered. The concept and significance of durability are defined, and the most common causes of damage to reinforced concrete structures, such as carbonation, chloride corrosion, and segregation, are described. The most commonly used measurement methods for assessing concrete in structures are listed and described. Systems for the repair of the mentioned damages, such as coatings and corrosion inhibitors, are also described. At the end of the thesis, using the example of the Panorama Hotel, the aforementioned damages to the concrete structure, conducted tests, evaluation of the current state of the structure, and proposed repair methods are presented. A comparison of test results obtained from an authorized institution and the results of in situ testing showed a good correlation between the Schmidt hammer index and the compressive strength determined on cores extracted from the structure. This led to the conclusion that the non-destructive testing method used is sufficiently reliable for assessing the compressive strength of concrete in the structure.
