The paper analyses the Humans of New York Facebook page from the aspect of changes in journalistic communication. The audience, consisting of people from almost every part of the world, follows this photographic and storytelling Facebook page, whose popularity is visible form the number of likes, comments and amount of sharing, as well as from the number of similar pages that have started after it. The first part of the paper analyses the blog's history. There are currently no academic papers on this topic, so the main sources are newspaper articles, interviews with the author of the page and videos published on different news portals. The second part of the paper has research results on changes in human communication that have enabled the development of the page. The audience who follows Brandon Stanton's posts comments, likes are shares the page's content on a daily basis - the audience is participating. The third part of the paper analyses the research of the articles submitted on the page from April 29 to June 20 2015. This research is divided into three parts: the first part analyses reactions of the audience visible in the number of likes, comments and amount of sharing; the second part analyses the photographic part of Stanton's articles and the third one analyses the textual part of his articles. The purpose of this paper is to analyse the content of the page, to research its history and review the changes in journalistic communication that have made the evolution of this Facebook page possible.
