Noble municipality of Turopolje this year celebrates 25 years renewing work. Today, it is a civil association whose main goal is preservation identity of Turopolje and eight centuries of historical heritage. Restorable assembly in 1991, has renewed Turopolje brotherhood and has created social organization Noble Municipality of Turopolje, for the purpose of restoring and establishing the legal and historical sequence and property rights of ancient Croatian Noble municipality of Turopolje. Except historical battles of turpolje nobility for their rights, in recent history POT experiencing injustice with confiscation of property in the period of socialistic Yugoslavia, which still has not returned and the fight for it is still going on. The main goals of POT are modern renewal of POT's identity, return property which was taken away and legal protection coat of arms, flag and stamp, which POT is using today. POT's trademark is Turopoljski banderij, Croatian historical military unit, which has reconstructed when POT has re-established. One of POT's primary tasks is to preserve the cultural and historical heritage, what is achieving through cultural work. Through the history Noble Municipality of Turopolje has changed its authority, law, court and legal structure. Today, the Noble municipality of Turopolje has became recognizable participant of cultural life in Turopolje. This degree report concern with the Noble Municipality of Turopolje in history and today. The main goal of degree report was to show the historical development of noble municipality of Turopolje noble to the present day, alike its activities in public life. Equally it was maked effort to describe events which Noble municipality of Turopolje is organize in order to preserve traditions and customs. In the future, POT will be active as guardians of eight centuries Turopolje heritage, what confirms many plans for work in the coming years, among other things, the project of preservations of Turopolje pig.
