The specifics of the population with Down syndrome have conditioned a multispherical adjustment of society in the form of formal and informal acceptance of this group of people in everyday life. Physical activity is one of the many items that are consumed daily by a healthy population, and which is necessary to enable and adapt to the population with Down syndrome because it is essential for proper development and progress. The aim of this thesis is to show the importance of physical activity in working with the population with Down syndrome and to point out the feasibility of aerobic forms of training with elements of preventive strength exercises that fall into the category of "Aerobics". Furthermore, the aim is to point out the specifics of these programs and the additional benefits they provide. Both educational and professional organizations tend to increase awareness and concern for the integration of such individuals into their environments. However, in a number of numerous activities that are available, physical activities are often omitted, so this paper deals with the specifics of this population and the importance of their involvement in such activities. Also, comorbidity was investigated, and finally an adapted aerobics program for working with people with Down syndrome was presented in the form of a presentation of their integration into a different type of activity.
