Preschool age is typically defined as the age of 6 months to the age when child id ready to go to the school. The largest number of children at that age attend kindergartens where they are in constant contact with one another. Because of that, kindergartens are known to be the places of increased health surveillance. Enterobiasis is a parasitic disease caused by the nematodes Enterobius vermicularis. E.vermicularis is roundworm which as an adult parasite inhabitates human intestines. Enterobiasis is the most common parasite illness in developed parts of the world and because of that it has a large impact on public health. Furthermore, the main transmission path is fecal-oral route. Most of the time the infection is maintained through autoinfection. Enterobiasis is also defined by the law as the disease that is required to be registered as a part of the group diseases - helminthiasis. Because of that, results in this paper are shown as morbidity of the population from helminthiasis and as the morbidity of preschool children from helminthiasis. Moreover, an area in which the morbidity is described is Primorsko-goranska county for the year of 2015. to 2019. Data were taken from the statistical annals of the Institute of the Public Health in PGC. Finally, the aim of this paper is to follow an incidency of helminthiasis morbidity in a total population of Primorsko-goranska county as well as the trend of helminthiasis morbidity in preschool children of Primorsko-goranska county.
