Parkinson's disease (PB) is one of the most common chronic neurodegenerative disorders whose clinical manifestations include many motor and non-motor symptoms that progressively degenerate the quality of life. Since the cause is still not sufficiently clear, access to therapy is still mostly symptomatic. In order to stop the development of symptoms throughout the years, numerous approaches to treatment including pharmacological, surgical, psychological etc. have been revealed. Recent research has shown that maintaining a high quality of life (QOL) can be a key factor in the rehabilitation of PD patients. Nowadays, we are aware of the advantages and importance but also of the deficiency of pharmacological and surgical therapy in the treatment of many symptoms and illnesses. Interest is turning more and more into looking at man entirely with all his components - physical, mental and spiritual. Since 2013, numerous studies have improved literature and directed clinicians to sustainable treatment interventions outside pharmacotherapy and surgery. Although the observation of art and its association with processes in the human organism goes back to the past, precisely because of its ubiquity and recognized positive biological benefits, art will remain an inexhaustible source of exploratory curiosity. Through this paper I will consider today's therapeutic possibilities in still challenging Parkinson's disease with a special focus on art, mostly musical.
