Breast-feeding is a natural process and mothers milk is the most valuablle for newborns and infants. It's composition is unique and unrepeatable, numerous researches have proven it positive effect on mother and child. It has a unique biochemical composition it protects from infections, prevents allergys, it has optimal digestibility, it develops a specific psyhological bound between mother and child and it's most economical. Breast-feeding satisfies all nutritional and nutritive values in the first six months of a child's life. Industrial preparations which are used today as a replacement for mothers milk imitate it's composition but only parcial can replace brest-feeding because it misses some immune ingridients and enzyms found in breast-feeding and also it's antyallergic properties. Despite good access to information and big effort of community primarly health-care stuff, mothers often have problems with breast-feeding. This issues often are solved by patronage nurses who already visit women during the pregnancy and educate them about breast-feedingand changes which are coming, then visit mother and child after labour and maternity hospital in their home where they continue the education and demonstration. The role of patronage nurse is to plan, implamante and coordinate helath care with continuosly consultation and education. Quality communication between mother and patronage nurse is one of the primary things for successfully understanding some child conditions and it's needs. For this reasons are founded pregnancy courses and support groups for brast-feeding which are a big help and melanina for a mother.
