The work consists of five sections that deal with the activities of the association. The introductory section provides a detailed description of the final thesis topic. The second section describes the concept of an association, its objectives, membership rules, the principles under which associations operate, and the statutes of both domestic and foreign associations. The third section explains the steps involved in establishing an association, the concept of the Register of Associations, and the documentation required for registering an association in the Register. Additionally, it explains the process of registering in other relevant registers, the registration of foreign associations operating within the Republic of Croatia, and the financing of the association from various sources. The fourth section covers the accounting and finances of the association, where the methods of managing the association are thoroughly explained, including single-entry and double-entry bookkeeping, the financial reports the association is required to submit, and the deadlines for submitting these financial reports. Finally, the conclusion offers a reflection on the overall topic of establishing associations.
