Financial analysis of a company implies the process of collecting, processing and interpreting financial data found in basic financial statements. All important information about the company, such as the structure of assets and liabilities, data on business performance and cash generation, liquidity, indebtedness, etc., can be found by the interested stakeholder in the financial statements. Using financial statements, the process of making business decisions and creating business plans is greatly facilitated. In order to analyze the financial stability and business performance of the company as qualitatively as possible, it is necessary to analyze the financial statements over several years. Exactly such a detailed analysis is the subject of this paper, where the research and analysis of the financial statements of the company HOTEL SPLIT d.d. is carried out. The paper deals with key financial indicators for the previous three years (2020 -2022). The aim of this paper is to explain the procedures for analyzing financial statements and to use them to evaluate the success of a company's operations using a practical example.
