The production of crops that are not widely represented in the market represents the potential for production in the future. Unlike cereals, which are widely represented but low-profitable crops, vegetables represent an opportunity for cultivation in a smaller area, but also a higher income than growing primary crops. The various funds which are provided by the European Union also contribute to increase the number of agricultural holdings to grow such crops. One of the things that the European Union promote is to encourage youth to run farms. Young people have the potential of agricultural production because through formal education (schools and colleges) they can acquire knowledge that will contribute to the development of production that must evolve in line with trends and needs. In addition to this knowledge acquired in educational institutions, they also acquire knowledge through work and collaboration with older colleagues who have acquired their knowledge through years of work and involvement in the cultivation of particular cultures. Developing economies where young people will manage and gaining opportunities to achieve good financial results from which individual families can live well contributes to the development of rural areas that are constantly losing their population due to their inability to work and create the conditions for a normal life. All these methods are an opportunity for the state to develop, and for certain regions that have become underdeveloped for various reasons to become places where agricultural production will be one of the drivers of development.
