This thesis analyzes the concept of voting rights in the context of Croatian law. Through an overview of the history and development of voting rights in Croatia, it is investigated how norms and regulations on voting rights have been shaped over time. The paper studies in detail the rights and obligations of voters according to Croatian legislation, investigating how these rights differ and are limited in relation to other legal systems. The electoral system and process in Croatia are also analyzed, with special emphasis on the influence of electoral procedures on the country's political landscape. Studying social factors and voting behavior in Croatia, the paper investigates how different demographic, economic and social variables affect voter choice, and psychological aspects of voting behavior are also analyzed. Furthermore, the paper deals with the politicization and polarization of the electorate in Croatia, analyzing political campaigns, propaganda and the role of the media in shaping voting behavior. Finally, the paper investigates the current challenges and reforms in the Croatian electoral system and offers proposals for its improvement. The aim of this work is to provide a deeper understanding of voting rights in Croatia and to identify the key aspects that affect the exercise of this important civil right, and by identifying these key aspects to carry out a comparison in relation to the regulation of other countries.
