TikTok is a social network that has recently become extremely popular due to its ease of use and the content that is posted. TikTok content is of limited duration, in which a lot of information is obtained in a short time, which can be useful if it is about educational content or promoting one's own product, which is not always the case. Precisely because of its short duration of content, it can easily occupy a person and lead to excessive use or addiction, and then to everyday problems such as neglecting school duties and impairing the mental health of a young person, and in the end it can also lead to risky behavior in young people and children. Also, the privacy and age restriction settings of the TikTok application are of questionable quality, which can also be detrimental to the person using the application. In order to prevent such consequences from the use of social networks, it is necessary to introduce preventive programs in the educational system, but also in your own family home. Young people need to be warned about the dangers that can be found on social networks and the harm that can be caused by their irresponsible use.
