Cyber crime is not a special type of crime, it is a „traditional“ form of crime committed with specific tools and methods i.e. with computers and other types of electronic media with malicious intent. This paper is divided into several chapters. First chapter serves as an introduction and it is used to show historical development of various methods used to transfer informations, as well as the development of computers and the internet as a platform on which cyber crime is performed. Furthermore we will be discussing most common forms of cyber crime with brief mentions of less common but not less significant and less dangerous forms. The final goal of this paper is to present and raise awareness to dangers of cyber crime, that end up, unjustifiably, overshadowed by crimes in real world, regardless of the fact that cyber crime can present equal or even greater danger regardless whether it's to individuals, their property, personal data, reputation or security of the state, especially due to availability of computer technologies the number of damaged individuals is on the constant rise.
