This paper deals with the topic of the Service contract, which is one of the most important contracts of civil and commercial law regulated by the provisions of the "Law on Obligatory Relations". The work is divided in such a way that in the first part, given that it is actually a legal matter, the concept and content of legal matters is interpreted, and then it is moved to the contract itself. In the second part of the paper, which refers to the contract itself, concept and general features of Contract are explained, followed by its essential, natural and incidental ingredients. After that, its conclusion by bidding is also clarified. The paper pays special attention to the obligations and rights of the contractor and the client, as well as the procedure in case of visible and hidden defects. The paper deals with the concept of risk as well as situations in which the risk of damage and accidental ruin of the work is borne by the contractor or the client. Also, the termination of the work contract and its taxation are analyzed. The paper ends by presenting the differences between service contrac, purchase agreement, contract of employment and mandate contract.
